I recently completed a PhD in theology at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
My doctoral thesis offers a descriptive analysis of the theological conception of the "principalities and powers" in Karl Barth and John Howard Yoder. After giving a reading of the dogmatic significance of the powers for each thinker, I then bring them into dialogue around the question of the powers' relation to the present form of human social and political life.
