I recently completed my doctoral studies within the Northern Institute of Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen. In my thesis I focused on the prima facie plausible principle of Counter-Closure, according to which knowledge-yielding deductive inference must proceed from known premises, and raised various challenges to it. I have recently started working as Impact and Outreach Officer for the Philosophy Department at the University of Aberdeen.
