About
Focusing on literature and visual art produced in Northern Ireland from 1994 to the present day, my research engages with the post-Ceasefire tendency towards amnesia prevalent within the governmental and the media’s historical accounts of ‘the Troubles’, and explores how artistic production reflects upon, contests and subverts this process of selective forgetting, erasure and archival.
