About
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Northern Institute of Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen, working mainly on the Relativism and Rational Tolerance Project. I joined NIP in March 2012 after completing my doctoral studies at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Matthew Kieran and Aaron Meskin.
My areas of specialization are philosophy of language and aesthetics. My central research interests focus on agreement and disagreement: on their nature, their role in our cognitive lives, and their role in various philosophical debates. My Ph.D. focused on the role of arguments from disagreement in the debate over aesthetic relativism.
